New Pet Insurance Regs – Good for Consumers?

Reporter Maya Rodriguez takes a look at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ (NAICs’) initiative to create a model law for pet insurance, and NAPHIA’s participation in the process.

NAPHIA President Rick Faucher spoke with Rodriguez about the work being done, saying that ideally the model law will “help consumers be educated about what they are buying.”

Model laws are typically intended to help standardize insurance regulation, and coverage across the U.S.

The interview aired on a number of the Scripps network of television stations including Tampa, Baltimore, Detroit, San Diego and Denver.
